The_Web_Rules is a shareware collection of GIF images
intended for use as horizontal rules in World Wide
Web pages. To use one of the rules, place a copy
of it in the desired directory on your server
and insert an IMG tag pointing to it in the
appropriate HTML document.

The_Web_Rules is shareware. Please do not distribute it without this documentation.

If you are an artist or web page designer who uses one of these images in a commercial job or on a for-profit site, the shareware fee is $20 which purchases unlimited use of the The_Web_Rules collection (just pass the cost on to your clients - they won't mind at all).

If you are not using these to make money, the shareware fee is whatever you can afford ($10 would be great; a postcard would be cool if you're a starving student or artist). If you're outside of the United States, any currency that I can give to my son for his international money collection would be fun.
